Think about the Titanic. A ship that loads of people boarded with utmost faith that it was the greatest ship ever built. With confirmation from the greatest minds of the age that ‘Not even God could sink it’, a ship that was made a spectacle of and every human at the time coveted to be on board it. The naïve souls that went down with it had no idea what they’d signed up for. They believed what they were told and probably wanted to go down in history as the first humans to cruise on the Titanic. They did go down…in history.

The world is like the Titanic. Not like we are on board by choice, but we covet life so much that we could do anything to have a little more time. We believe in what we are told as long as it makes sense to us and ignore what doesn’t. We want to do things and be remembered in history as the makers of change and setters of trends. We absolutely have no idea what awaits us after this life or even what will happen tomorrow but we still make plans, just like they booked tickets and made plans ahead of the trip. Whatever happens is out of our control, we know it, we don’t understand why so we turn a blind eye.

You ever wonder why that ship sunk? I mean scientists have reasons explaining the tragedy to the last detail but indulge me. We have this weakness, whenever man does something extra ordinary(in his eyes); he becomes a little annoyingly arrogant. Maybe God had had enough and thought… “Maybe one last lesson and they could understand their place” Maybe, I’m just saying. You never know when God has had enough of your bullshit. You never know when the ship will hit that iceberg. Just another Pompeii situation. So, stop acting like you got it all figured out, you don’t. Be good to people, share the love and travel the world when you can. Live a life of less regrets.
