The vegetation is characterized by savannah and woodland. The community of game animals includes lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hartebeests, Uganda kobs, baboons, buffalos and many bird species. The Murchison falls stream all the way from Lake Victoria and Victoria Nile forcing itself down a small nick within the rocks, seven meters wide, and flows to forty three meters below with a booming sound therefore forming a cloud of water splashes that form a stunning rainbow.
